Last summer I had fun spending the a day in Geneva. We went there in the morning and took the last train back to cranes montana. So if your going to do the same here are some suggestions:
Make sure that your arrival time in Geneva is before 2.30 pm so you can have lunch because thats when the restaurants close usually.
For Lunch/Dinner: Entercote is a yummy choice for those of you who are meat lovers! You can never go wrong with Entercote! Another place is Roberto their food is basically YUMMY!
Cafe: Auer is one of the famous spots in Geneva. I love their coffee!
Shopping: BonGeni is department store located on Rue de Marche
Have a tour ride, its so much fun I love to ride these tricycles! You can find them near the bridge next to the fountain.
Rue de Rive: is one of the main roads in Geneva where there’s a lot of shops. Basically its a nice place to have a walk and shop 
The Famous Fountain: How can we forget the famous fountain take a boat ride to have a close look at the fountain.
As you can see from the pix that day the weather was just amazing it started as a sunny day and ended with a bit of rain perfect combination, or at least for me

One of my husband’s friend recently went to Six Senses hotel in Phuket. The hotel was highly recommended by him because of its specatcular service, interior and location. Basically, everything about the hotel was amazing.

Sometimes quick and spontaneous getaways is just what you need to getaway from your daily routine. So I decided to give a couple of suggestions that might be interesting for you. Since the first thing that pops to my mind when saying romantic is beach, I though Maldives would be the best suggestion.
Two hotels that I thought looked nice:
W Retreat & Spa Maldives: Which costs around 301KD per night and so far there are availablty for the beach house. This hotel was recommended by one of friends who loved the hotel so much!

The Catalan vote means Article 6 of the Animal Protection Act will strictly outlaw bullfights in Catalonia from 1 January 2012.

Viceroy Maldives is one of the latest additions to Maldive’s exquisite collection of hotels. I loved the interior of the hotel which is a bit different from what is found in Maldives.
Hint: It would be a romantic trip especially since Valentines Day is right around the corner…
Last week I posted my review about Langkawi Island, in this post I’ll talk about the luxury beach resort I stayed in; The Andaman. The Hotel is located in the heart of the rainforest & in front of a private beach, which makes it quite unique.

The hotel lobby, foyer and the pathway to the rooms are all in an outdoor setting, which serves the true tropical getaway feeling.
The rooms were quite comfortable & spacious. My only issue was the interior and décor of the rooms. I don’t like rooms with the beige color palettes with dark wooden floors and vaulted wooden ceilings, I feel it’s too much. The view on the other hand was whimsical!
Other than that, the staff was very nice& helpful, the pool is huge & full of trees & plants, it’s like you are swimming in a lake. The beach is considered to be the most clear & clean beach among other hotels in Langkawi Island. The restaurant’s seating near the pool & beach was so good & relaxing.
The Costa Concord Cruise sunk on 13th January 2012 due to running into rocks that resulted the cruise to roll spectacularly on its side.
Costa Cruises boss Pier Luigi Foschi accused the Captain of making an “unapproved, unauthorized” deviation in course & sailing too close to a nearby island in order to show the ship to locals.
The captain blames the disaster on rocks which were not on his chart.
Six people died and at least 16 are missing after the Costa Concordia’s hull was torn open on Friday 13th.

One month ago I went to Langkawi Island in Malaysia; the Island is very similar to Phuket’s scenery & atmosphere. However Phuket has more activities for tourists. (Click here to see our post on Phuket)

To be honest, it was very pretty & relaxing but it’s only worth it if you are actually around Malaysia. If you are looking for a similar Island getaway, phuket is much more fun & prettier than Langkawi. That’s just my humble opinion.
